Line of action responsible for the development and distribution of integrated products to support the mitigation of natural risks.

Aims to stimulate the integration of the various C4G working groups with services and products (S&P) relevant to the mitigation of natural risks, to compile the existing S&P and to propose new S&P, or their update and development, taking into account the objectives of this line of action.

. Hazard indices [Net Shoreline Movement & Linear Regression Rates]
Hazard indices [NSM and LRR], calculated using the DSAS Add-in, v5.0 (Digital Shoreline Analysis System), based on the statistical calculation of the rate of change of various historical locations on the coastline, in a time horizon of 65 years old [Faro-Vila Real de Santo António] and 68 years old [Figueira da Foz-Nazaré], parameterized using transects, with 10m spacing, perpendicular to the coastline.

. Seismic hazard studies
Compilation of existing maps at national and European level – 2013 Euro-Mediterranean Seismic Hazard Model. Available are the elements used in the national calculations, in the Ground Motion Prediction Equations (GMPE), in seismicity, zoning and uncertainties. Use of OpenQuake to as a plataform to share the information.
